Hi! I'm Katherine, lover of yoga pants, dogs, live music and good wine. Born and raised in KCMO, I recently moved back to Kansas City (to the KS side--PVKS!) after living down South (ATL to be exact) for many years. I married my high school sweetheart (we just celebrated 10 years!) and while I've been a dog mama for many years, I worked very hard to earn the title of mama. I am so lucky to call Cora and Connor mine.
You've seen me with a camera in my hand since the early 2000's. What started as a dream turned into a reality in 2019 when I left my digital marketing career to pursue my passion documenting moments. And now I am a nationally published newborn and family photographer.
Our kids are the most photographed generation to ever live. I want to help make sure we don't leave them with an outdated device full of snapshots. Let's leave them with memories to last a lifetime. My goal is to provide you with more than just photos, but an experience; one you'll look forward to each year.
I'd love to chat with you about how I can help you create lasting memories.

"We had a family photo session and she captured so many special images that we’ll cherish. Katherine is professional, prepared and was great with my two girls. I look forward to working with her more in the future!"
I know...cue the "awwww". I was a senior and he was a junior (he went for an old lady!) and I needed a date to Homecoming. He somehow managed to snag my car keys, left a rose and a mix CD in my car to ask me and the rest is history. Oh, and I got my car keys back too :)
I may have married Greek (yes, the name Jianas is Greek in case you were wondering about that too ;)) but I do NOT like olives. There has to be one in every relationship, right??
Go Eagles! Doubles was my specialty...love a good serve and volley. Here’s to never giving up on a Wimbledon debut ;)
Mr. Charlie, Stella Blue and Cassidy. Cora, my daughter, was not officially named after a Grateful Dead song (we just really loved the name), however Bob Weir does play a song titled Corrina ("Corinna" is how we spell our Cora's full name). So yea...I guess you could say we like the Grateful Dead...a lot.
Well used to...I took 4 years of Italian in college and studied for a semester in Siena, Italy. Che bella, l’Italia!
I value the moments that are real and raw. The moments that you cannot imagine living without. And that's why I'm here. So that you can relive those days, over and over.
I help you create memories. Memories that will last beyond a lifetime. Memories that are passed on. Year after year. Generation after generation. I capture the love in your eyes when he looks at you. The peaceful dreams of your newborn. The pure joy and laughter of your kids. The natural silliness of your family. The real, raw emotions that are your every day. That is what I capture. I live out my dream every day. Because I get to help you tell your story.
