The Big Day
Newborn: 90-120 minutes in the comfort of your own home
Family: 60 minute session either outdoors at an agreed upon location or in your home
Milestone: 30-60 minutes either outdoors at an agreed upon location or in a studio

Gallery Delivery
Your gallery will be ready for viewing approximately 7-14 days after your shoot.

Print Ordering
All products are custom made and take ~3 weeks to produce. Digital images will be delivered within 3 days.

I typically book up two months in advance, so it is best to schedule your newborn session at least 2 months in advance. The earlier the better! And while we set a date, I work closely with you as you get closer to your due date and we can adjust your photo date accordingly after you and baby are home safely from the hospital.
Newborn sessions will happen 14 days after you and baby have been home from the hospital. This is a COVID safety protocol to protect both you and me.
In a nutshell, it is unposed. Basically I capture you and your family having genuine and raw moments, unscripted. This allows us to really showcase the connection you have between you and your new baby. The sessions are baby-led, so we go along with however baby is feeling...sleepy, awake, etc. We use few, if any, props. I love a simple white onesie or even just a blanket draped over a diaper. If you’re looking for a froggy pose, sorry, I’m not your gal!
Since we typically do lifestyle newborn sessions in the comfort of your own home, I like to take these photos when the light is brightest in your home (though not direct sunlight), particularly in the rooms where we will be shooting. I typically recommend mid-morning but don’t be surprised if I ask you to monitor the light in your home so we know what time will be best!
Outdoor portrait sessions are done either first thing in the morning or late in the afternoon (depending on the time of year). We want to get a nice, soft glow when the sun hasn’t gotten too high into the sky. This light will be most flattering (trust me!)
Yes, a $200 session fee is due upon booking. This reserves your time, gets you all sorts of good info for preparing for your session and post production.
Newborn sessions typically last 1-2 hours (as long as it takes to get the shots we need!). General portrait sessions typically take 1 hour. Milestone session typically take 30 minutes - 1 hour.
You will receive a digital gallery for viewing your images within 14 days after your session.
