What is a Milestone Membership?

Happy Spring, friends! Hopping onto the blog today (see what I did there? ;)) to fill you in on all of the milestone membership deets. I often get asked what the heck this is, so thought I would take some time to put it all in writing for you!

What is a milestone membership?

In a nutshell, a milestone membership is a collective of sessions that take place within 15 months. By signing up for multiple sessions in advance, I am able to offer you a special rate on your sessions. Plus, at the end of your final session, we design an album together that includes your favorite images from all of your sessions.

What kind of session is a “milestone”?

A “milestone” can really be any time in your family’s life that you want to document. While many people choose to start their membership around a newborn session, followed by a sitting (~6 month) and walking (~1 year) session, these sessions can be used at any stage of life. A milestone membership is a way for you to capture a series of events within a year or so. Also, a milestone membership doesn’t just have to be a one-time thing. You are welcome to sign up for a new membership series as soon as you’ve finished your last one!

Why should I sign up for a membership?

I’ve been there, and I know how fast the first year(s) of your child’s life goes by and when life gets in the way, you forget to find the time to capture these memories. A membership is a way for you to not have to think about remembering to document moments that you will cherish forever. I’m sure you have thousands of photos on your iPhone, but having professional photos to go on your wall or in a book is something I promise you won’t regret. It also gives YOU, mama, the opportunity to be IN some of the photos and not just behind the camera phone for once.

What is included in my session?

Each session is just like a regular session. We plan the date and time and then after your session you will receive a digital gallery of all of your images to download. All digital images are included in your membership as well as 4×6 proof prints and a keepsake glass box. You’ll also get to pick your favorite images after your final session to design an album. Talk about lasting memories!
