Fall Session Wardrobe Guide

Education

Hi Friends! I don’t know about you, but it doesn’t feel anywhere close to fall down here in Atlanta (it was 99 degrees the other day…) BUT, whether or not you are working with me, it is time to start thinking about what you should wear to your fall photo session because cooler temps are bound to happen. In case you missed it, I wrote a blog earlier this summer with general tips of what to wear to a photo session. You can check it out here. At the end of the day, don’t overthink it. Be comfortable. Wear something you’ll want to see yourself (and your family) in for many years to come, so put in a little effort beforehand to plan accordingly.

A few color recommendations for fall:

  • Stick to muted tones, versus saturated/vibrant colors.
  • Colors to avoid:  bright orange, bright pink, purple, yellow, red, bright green
  • Colors to try:  muted blue, brown, gold, gray, hunter green, mauve

Happy fall shopping!
