Strang Hall has become quite an Overland Park staple. Located in the heart of downtown, Strang Hall is a collection of six unique restaurants that feature delicious cuisines worldwide, like pizza, sushi, tacos, and so much more. Nearly six miles of paved and wood chip hiking trails guide you through the park, some of which cross Wolf Creek with large, beautiful bridges. Suppose hiking on your own isn’t your style. In that case, you can participate in one of the Arboretum’s guided tours that will take you through the various gardens and landscapes.

The Children’s Discovery Garden provides young explorers with plenty of sensory opportunities to learn and play. Various sculptures give grown-ups a chance to appreciate compelling artwork throughout the property. The Johnson County Museum is every local historian’s dream. It offers “innovative, engaging exhibitions and programs that inspire learners of all ages to discover a sense of place and spark excitement about history” in the Johnson County Arts & Heritage Center in Overland Park.

The museum is dedicated to giving visitors a deeper understanding of the county’s rich history and growth with more than one million photos, 20,000 3-Dimensional artifacts, and plenty of archival material.
